Registration for operating with callsign VR2O

In connection with the celebration of Beijing 2008 Olympic game, HARTS has arranged a special club station call sign VR2O to be operated between now and Sep 30. After initial test, we now invite all valid HARTS members to participate in this great event by using VR2O in doing QSOs from May 31 to Sep 30, 2008. Since this request is on first come first serve basis, we shall confirm your request by e-mail. The remaining open time slot will be published on our website.

Important,

The place of operation is important as we need to apply separate permit from OFTA to cover your location of operation. Without the address where you intend to operate, we cannot confirm your registration. Your address of operation will not be disclosed to the public.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong's reunification with China, radio amateurs in Hong Kong can use the special call prefix "VR10" starting from 1 July 2007 onwards until 30 June 2008. Details of the arrangement have been sent to all Amateur Station Licensees and holders of the Authority to Operate. The same information can also be browsed at:
