According to the Constitutions of HARTS, we have to  

To provide radio network to any charitable or non-profit making organization with the overall objective of serving the community of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, or/and any other territory as determined by the Executive Committee;”

 

“在香港特別行政區或/及由執行委員會決定的其他地區,提供無線電通訊網絡給任何慈善或非牟利團體。”

 

In the past years, HARTS has been actively committed in serving the community by providing amateur radio communication network to various charitable organizations in securing the safety of participants and volunteers.  In various fund raising events, we deployed amateur radio operators to locations where there were no mobile phone coverage.  It ranged from 88 storey high ifc2 Tower to 100 kilometer MacLehose Trail.  We serve the community in an absolutely volunteer basis.  Normally, we would not engaged in events with the nature of profit making, political, or religious background.  We wholeheartedly support non-profit making and charitable organizations.  The followings are the events we have already accomplished in recent months:
